Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON)

Job Summary:

Eden Nursing & Rehabilitation is seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our dynamic team. As a vital member of our leadership, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our nursing department, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and promoting a positive work environment. Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to develop and implement nursing policies, procedures, and programs
• Coordinate and supervise the activities of the nursing staff, ensuring that patients receive comprehensive and individualized care
• Develop and manage budgets, monitor expenses, and implement cost-saving initiatives
• Conduct performance evaluations, provide coaching and feedback, and participate in the development of professional growth plans for nursing staff
• Foster relationships with community partners, healthcare providers, and regulatory agencies to ensure coordination of patient care
• Participate in Quality Improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing effective solutions
• Conduct audits and inspections to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies
• Provide exceptional customer service to patients, families, and staff

Requirements:

• 1 years of experience in a healthcare setting, with a focus on nursing leadership

• Current RN license in the state of Pennsylvania

• Knowledge of nursing standards, regulations, and best practices

• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
