Position Overview

The Facility Manager is responsible for overseeing all operational functions and maintenance of the Miami International Airport Consolidated Rental Car (ConRAC) Facility. This role requires a strategic leader with a proven ability to manage client relationships, direct facility operations, and ensure compliance of regulatory standards while delivering superior results for stakeholders, including multiple rental car companies.

Location: Miami International Airport Consolidated Rental Car Facility

Reports To: Director of Operations

Compensation: Full-time, exempt with a salary range of $120,000–$135,000 annually, commensurate with experience. Includes medical insurance with vision and dental options, health savings account (for HDP plans), life insurance, paid time off, participation in MVI’s 401k matching plan, and performance-based bonuses.

Qualifications, Experience, & Desired Competencies

· Minimum of 3 years of verifiable facility management experience

· Bachelor’s or associate degree in a business-related field or facility management, preferred

· 3–5 years verifiable experience managing a team of 5 or more employees

· Physical ability to lift 60 pounds, stand on feet for long periods of time, ability to bend, crouch, climb

ladders and hold equipment

· Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) preferred

· Valid U.S. driver’s license required

· Facility Management Certification, preferred

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and work order CMMS systems

· Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, optimize costs, and conduct financial analysis

· Experience managing 3rd party vendors and contracts

· Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and structural systems

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Leadership and Client Management

· Establishes and maintains productive client relationships, ensuring alignment with client expectations and operational goals

· Attends regular client meetings and provides updates

· Leads and develops staff while promoting a strong safety culture and positive work environment.

Operational Oversight

· Develops maintenance plans and oversees preventative maintenance and repairs

· Ensures compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations

· Manages vendors and coordinates facility services including carwash, vacuum, and general

infrastructure

· Oversees incident reporting and operational performance

Financial Oversight

· Manages budgets, cost controls, and financial reporting

· Reviews and approves expenses and invoices

· Identifies cost-saving opportunities and operational efficiencies

Regulatory and Safety Compliance

· Ensures compliance with local, state and federal safety regulations and company standards

· Leads safety training and compliance initiatives

Policies and Procedures

· Adheres to company policies and procedures

· Recruits, trains, and evaluates employees

· Maintains effective communication across all teams

Additional Responsibilities

· Utilizes systems such as CMMS and financial software
