Job Description
We’re seeking a results-driven Logistics and Trade Compliance Manager to lead logistics office operations, shipment coordination, carrier management, freight routing, logistics performance, and import/export compliance. This role supports efficient inbound and outbound freight movement while ensuring adherence to DOT, CBP, HTS code, CPSC, and related transportation requirements.
The ideal candidate is hands-on, analytical, and comfortable leading logistics execution while partnering with internal teams, transportation vendors, carriers, and 3PL partners to improve service, cost, compliance, and overall logistics performance.

What You Do
- Leads the logistics office team and holds overall responsibility for logistics performance.
- Communicates with transportation vendors, carriers, and 3PL partners to support service, cost, and compliance goals.
- Oversees transportation of products to ensure adherence to inbound and outbound freight strategies.
- Manages DOT compliance requirements and supports adherence to applicable transportation regulations.
- Manages and schedules dock appointments for pick-up and delivery to support efficient freight flow.
- Develops and tracks transportation metrics and reports results to leadership.
- Calculates freight factors, analyzes freight data, and submits recommendations for approval.
- Ensures adherence to import and export compliance requirements.
- Assists with SKU creation by applying NMFC and HTS codes appropriately.
- Assists in developing transportation strategy for inbound and outbound freight movement.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- High school diploma or equivalent required with some college preferred
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in transportation or logistics required
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in negotiating prices required
- Knowledge of DOT compliance and regulations
- Mathematical analysis skills required for transportation scenarios
- Good written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills required
- Advanced knowledge of MS Outlook, Excel and Word required
- SYSPRO or related ERP system experience preferred
- International freight compliance experience preferred.
