POSITION SUMMARY:
We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Transaction Paralegal with 5-10 years of experience to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in transactional matters, including review, analysis, drafting, and management of commercial contracts. The role will involve assisting senior attorneys and business stakeholders in connection with supporting a broad range of commercial initiatives. Currently, this is a hybrid remote/in-person position requiring at least two in-person days per week. Subject to change.

KEY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
- Drafting, reviewing, and assisting with a variety of commercial agreements, including vendor, supplier, distribution, services, licensing, and other operational contracts.
- Analyze industry trends, case law and legislation and help execute mitigation plans as needed.
- Assist with other miscellaneous internal projects within the Legal Department.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS
- Paralegal Certificate or Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in Paralegal Studies; equivalent education and experience may be considered.
- 5-10 years of relevant legal transactional experience in a law firm or in-house environment.
- Demonstrated experience drafting, reviewing, and assisting with the negotiation of commercial contracts, including vendor, services, supply, licensing, and other operational agreements.
- Strong transactional experience with the ability to manage matters from initial drafting through execution.
- Preferred experience in franchising, including franchise agreements, FDD-related matters, and franchise compliance.
- Preferred experience in procurement and supply chain contracting, including vendor negotiations and risk allocation.
- Experience with Excel, Outlook, and Microsoft Word required.
