Essential Functions:

  • Provide coverage for incoming calls and emails to the IT Help Desk during designated hours.
  • Troubleshoot intermediate-level software, hardware, and peripheral issues.
  • Log, document, resolve, or escalate technical issues in accordance with help desk procedures.
  • Coordinate with other IT personnel to resolve escalated issues and provide timely status updates to end users.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of supported software, hardware, and peripheral equipment.
  • Assist with installation, configuration, and setup of user software and hardware.
  • Work directly with vendors to resolve hardware or software issues when needed.


Additional Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate inventory records, including serial numbers and asset tags for IT equipment.
  • Assist with inventorying new equipment using the asset management system.
  • Support installation of peripheral equipment as directed.
  • Participate in night call rotations and overtime work as required.
  • Travel to county or claims offices to provide on-site hardware or software support.
  • Maintain a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Maintain regular and predictable attendance.


Qualifications:

Education

  • Associate’s degree in Information Technology or a related field preferred, or
  • Equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience required

Work Experience

  • Minimum of 2 years of Help Desk experience

  • Sit at a desk and work on a computer for extended periods (4+ hours)
  • Stand, walk, bend, stoop, crouch, and reach as required
  • Use hands and fingers to operate computers and equipment
  • Climb stairs and ladders occasionally
  • Lift and move equipment weighing up to 50 pounds

Pay:

Starting Salary: 67,953k/yr
