Job DescriptionProperty Manager (HUD / Tax Credit) – Contract to Hire
Take ownership of a HUD and Tax Credit community where your leadership, compliance expertise, and resident‑focused approach directly impact day‑to‑day success. This on‑site, contract‑to‑hire opportunity is ideal for an experienced Property Manager who can balance operations, compliance, and customer service while maintaining a well‑run, stable community.
Location: St. Louis Park, MN 55426
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Pay Rate: $22/hour

Job Description
- Oversee all daily on‑site property operations for a HUD and Tax Credit community
- Manage resident relations including move‑ins, renewals, notices, and issue resolution
- Ensure full compliance with HUD, LIHTC, Fair Housing, and company policies
- Oversee rent collection, delinquency tracking, and required reporting
- Coordinate with maintenance staff and vendors to ensure timely repairs and unit readiness
- Maintain accurate resident files, certifications, and compliance documentation
- Monitor occupancy, leasing activity, and overall property performance
- Utilize property management software to track operations, reporting, and resident data
Qualifications
- Apartment or multifamily Property Manager experience required
- HUD and/or Tax Credit (LIHTC) experience required
- Strong working knowledge of Fair Housing and affordable housing regulations
- Experience managing rent collection, notices, and compliance documentation
- Proficiency with property management software such as Yardi or OneSite
- Strong leadership, organization, and time‑management skills
- Professional communication skills with residents, vendors, and ownership
- Proven reliability, punctuality, and on‑site presence
