Location: Remote - all candidates mustreside in TX, NC, SC, TN, KY, IN, GA, or AZ Only
Compensation & Schedule

ROLE IMPACT
Help ensure patients receive accurate, timely benefits information by leading quality checks that make a real difference in healthcare access. As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you’ll be the final safeguard for precision, compliance, and service excellence—reviewing benefit verifications for completeness, accuracy, and adherence to program standards. Your work directly supports smooth patient onboarding and eliminates costly delays.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Review assigned benefit verifications daily for accuracy and completeness using quality scorecards
• Document findings, note and correct errors before release of Statements of Benefit
• Maintain and update quality documentation, reporting trends to supervisors and leadership
• Participate in calibration meetings to ensure consistency in evaluation standards
• Provide feedback to operations leadership based on quality monitoring results
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• 1–2 years’ experience in benefit investigations, medical billing, or healthcare insurance operations
• Demonstrated leadership experience or ability to lead a team
• Strong attention to detail and ability to perform high-volume quality checks with precision
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for reporting and presentations
CORE TOOLS & SYSTEMS
• Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
PREFERRED SKILLS
• Knowledge of reimbursement and patient assistance programs
• Familiarity with benefit reverification processes
• Strong analytical and trend-identification skills
