Job Description
The Activity Director provides ongoing program of activities designed to meet, in accordance with the comprehensive assessment, the interests and the physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being of each resident.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:&nbsp;
·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Develop and plan activities
·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Prepare, plan and coordinate a monthly calendar of activities
·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Oversight of Activity Aides
·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Properly document MDS reports and progress notes
·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Participate with the Administrator in developing the activity budget, including creatively sourcing funds

QUALIFICATIONS:&nbsp; 
·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; High School Diploma or its equivalent
·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Satisfactory completion of a training course for Activity Directors
·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 2 years minimum of experience in a social or recreational program
·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
