Job DescriptionAbout the RoleA mission-driven scientific association is seeking a Customer Service & Member Support Specialist to support its growing membership base. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, communicates with urgency, and takes pride in delivering high-quality service. You’ll serve as a key point of contact for members, ensuring a seamless experience across email, phone, and database interactions.Key Responsibilities
- Respond to member inquiries via phone and email with a strong sense of urgency
- Provide high-touch customer service to a professional membership base
- Maintain and update member records in internal databases
- Support administrative and operational tasks across the organization
- Assist with coordination of projects and internal initiatives
- Ensure accuracy and attention to detail in all communications and data entry
What We’re Looking For
- 2+ years of professional experience
- Strong customer service background with excellent written communication
- High attention to detail (critical for success in this role)
- Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities
- Comfortable working independently with minimal oversight
- Experience working with databases or CRM systems preferred

Pay: $55,000–$60,000
Hours: 37.5 hours/week
Schedule: Hybrid (Onsite Wednesday & Thursday; Remote Monday, Tuesday, Friday)
