This opportunity will give you experience in the growing Offshore Wind industry in the United States with a company that is a globally recognized leader in sustainable energy.LOCATIONProvidence, Rhode Island, 02903COMPENSATION$473-528 per day ($43-48 per hour) *full benefits offered SCHEDULEMonday – Friday – 10 hours per day (50 hours per week) 7 AM Start time100% onsite – Field & Office BasedPOSITION: QHSE Project CoordinatorThis is a site-based QHSE role supporting day-to-day health & safety coordination for the offshore wind project’s onshore operations. It is not a senior advisor role — this is a great fit for someone early in their QHSE career who wants hands-on exposure to large-scale renewable energy projects.The QHSE Project Coordinator will support toolbox talks, perform daily site walks, ensure safety procedures are being followed, escort visitors and third parties through the site, and assist with QHSE reporting in Synergi and internal tools. Strong communication and a proactive, “boots-on-the-ground” mindset are key.RESPONSIBILITIES
- Attend and support daily 7AM toolbox talks and daily coordination briefings
 - Perform ongoing site walks throughout the day to monitor safe work practices
 - Support incident / near-miss logging and corrective actions in the QHSE reporting system (Synergi)
 - Act as the onsite point of contact for visitors, contractors, and audits
 - Escort and brief visitors and stakeholders during site access
 - Support onboarding/orientation of new team members onsite
 - Partner with the Eversource safety team to ensure alignment with safety protocols
 - Contribute to QHSE presentations, safety campaigns, and communications
 - Maintain documentation, reports, logs, and QHSE dashboards
 - Support SharePoint updates and other simple administrative/document control tasks
 - Order PPE, assist with PO/SAP items as needed
 - Reinforce safety culture and coach field personnel when needed (“tough skin” but approachable)
 
REQUIREMENTS
- 1–5 years of QHSE / HSE coordination, construction safety, or field safety support
 
(new grads with internships or relevant degree will be considered)
- Strong communicator with confidence interacting onsite with crews and leadership
 - Comfortable working outdoors and walking the site throughout the day
 - Familiarity with safety reporting systems (Synergi or equivalent)
 - Experience with toolbox talks, safety walkdowns, or field verifications preferred
 - Ability to enforce safety rules respectfully but assertively
 - Microsoft Office proficiency (Excel, PPT, SharePoint)
 - SAP exposure is a plus
 - Must be local to Rhode Island (no per diem)
 
EDUCATION
- Bachelor’s degree in safety, quality or environmental studies, business administration, communications, or another equivalent field
 
CONTRACT TERM1 year with a possibility of extension or conversion
