Associate Attorney

Job Description

Cassiday Schade LLP is actively seeking an associate attorney for its St. Louis Office with three plus years of experience in any area of law. The individual must be dedicated, highly motivated, and interested in practicing among our team of more than 100 attorneys who value legal acumen, collaboration, open and honest communication, integrity and professionalism. Must be licensed to practice in Missouri.

The Associate Attorney will be expected to perform the following tas

• ks:
  Draft pleadings, motions, orders, discovery and legal memora
• nda.Prepare and respond to written discovery, conduct legal research, and take and defend depositi
• ons.Review client documents, draft case evaluations and prepare status report corresponde
• nce.Assist with and participate in mediations, pretrial settlement conferences and court appearan
• ces.Interact directly with clients, claim professionals, opposing counsel, colleagues and staff; and manage a substantive case l
• oad.Perform a variety of difficult and complex legal work and operate with substantial discretion and minimal direction or supervis
