Job DescriptionSenior Software Engineer (Remote)
Codeworks is an IT Services firm headquartered in SE Wisconsin, known for our strong commitment to quality and long-standing direct client relationships.
Who We’re Looking For:We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to support the development of modern, cloud-based SaaS applications for a technology-driven financial software client. This is a full-time, salaried, fully remote role reporting to the client’s VP of Engineering. Occasional bi-annual in-person team meetings are encouraged but not required.
Responsibilities:
- Design, build, test, and deploy SaaS features using Microsoft and Azure PaaS technologies
- Own features end-to-end, from architecture through deployment
- Develop microservices and event-driven architectures
- Build and maintain full-stack solutions including frontend, backend, CI/CD pipelines, logging, and monitoring
- Design and maintain product code and cloud infrastructure using modern .NET and front-end technologies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fully remote environment
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience building and supporting commercial software products
- Strong experience with C# ASP.NET Core and modern front-end frameworks
- Experience with microservices, event-driven architectures, and functional programming concepts
- Proficiency with EF Core, SQL, stored procedures, and Azure SQL
- Experience with infrastructure as code and cloud deployments in Azure
- Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, Git, Docker, and container-based services
