Job DescriptionEngineering Manager

With over 3 decades of history we are leaders in FAA approved night vision goggles for first responders and law enforcement. We now successfully manufacture, service and obtain FAA certifications for our customers both in the US and abroad. With our growth we are looking for a Engineering Manager to lead our engineering team and engineering operations and work with aviation partners. This is an exciting role for someone with 5+ years experience in engineering management and aviation or experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish a engineering department following ISO 9001 standards
  • Develop annual budgets with IRAD and CRAD
  • Review, improve and approve staff goals and timelines
  • Manage technical documentation and reporting processes including drafting, manuals and project notes
  • Direct and manage all cockpit modifications, group drawings and drafting modifications
  • Oversee production engineering and engineering Configuration Change Board
  • Must have experience with product engineering and manufacturing engineering
  • Preferred experience in electro-optical system production
  • Have experience with SolidWorks or CAD Software
  • Experience managaing a engineering team
