Job DescriptionWe are looking for an experienced Estate Planning Attorney to join our team in Saint Louis, Missouri. This role offers a unique opportunity to work with a respected investment advisory firm, providing tailored legal solutions to high-net-worth clients. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in estate planning and a client-focused approach to help navigate complex legal matters.
Responsibilities:
• Draft, review, and modify estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and advance directives.
• Provide strategic legal advice to clients on wealth management and tax-efficient estate planning strategies.
• Collaborate with financial advisors and other professionals to deliver comprehensive planning solutions tailored to individual client needs.
• Represent clients in probate and estate administration processes as required.
• Stay informed on changes in estate planning laws and regulations, ensuring compliance and up-to-date legal advice.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring professionalism and confidentiality in all communications.
• Contribute to the growth of the estate planning practice through client development initiatives and business outreach efforts.• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school and active membership in the Missouri Bar.
• At least 3–5 years of experience practicing estate planning law, preferably with exposure to high-net-worth clients.
• Comprehensive knowledge of estate, trust, and gift laws, including tax implications.
• Proficiency in drafting legal documents and conducting thorough legal research.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to foster lasting client relationships.
• Detail-oriented and capable of solving complex legal challenges with a client-focused mindset.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team setting.
