Now Hiring - Developmental Disabilities Employment Support DSP/Job CoachJob Duties and Tasks

  • Provide on-the-job training and support to individuals with disabilities, ensuring alignment with employer expectations for quality, productivity, and professional behavior.

  • Facilitate workplace integration by building and maintaining positive relationships with employers, supervisors, and coworkers.

  • Advocate for individuals by fostering workplace inclusion, supporting self-advocacy, and encouraging independence.

  • Develop and implement strategies to promote long-term independence and autonomy in job roles.

  • Monitor participant progress and maintain accurate documentation, including case notes and billable hours.

  • Assist in employment readiness activities, such as resume building, interview preparation, and travel training.

  • Coordinate services and collaborate with families, employers, state agencies, and other service providers.

  • Provide or coordinate transportation to work sites as needed.

  • Maintain flexible scheduling to accommodate participant needs, including evenings and weekends.

Training and Certifications:

  • Complete ACRE certification modules or state-approved specialized job coach training within six (6) months of employment.

  • Stay updated on all certifications and trainings offered at Full Life and by external organizations to maintain a strong knowledge base that supports participants.

Competitive Pay & Benefits

  • Starting Pay: $20.50/hour (full-time + part-time), with training at $16.00/hour.

  • Bonus Incentive: We will provide a $300 bonus after successfully completing 90 days, with the remaining $300 awarded after ACRE certification, totaling $600!
  • Health Benefits: Medical insurance or a $200/month stipend if you already have coverage.

  • Paid Time Off (PTO): Available for full-time employees.

  • Retirement: 3% 401(k) match after 90 days.

  • Additional Benefits:

    • Cell phone stipend

    • Mileage reimbursement

    • Student loan repayment assistance ($50/month)

    • Referral bonuses (up to $500 for you and your referral)

    • Bonuses are given when organizational goals are met.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED (or be willing to undergo skills assessment)
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Active CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain before starting)
  • Reliable transportation and a clean driving record
  • Proof of tuberculosis clearance (or ability to obtain prior to starting)
  • No prior experience is required - we provide comprehensive training for the right person!
