MCAT Solutions is a Central Ohio‑based construction company specializing in mission‑critical and low‑voltage installation work. We are looking for a motivated, entry‑level Safety professional who is eager to learn the construction safety field and grow with our company.

This role is hands‑on and primarily jobsite‑based, focusing on safety walks, observations, employee onboarding, and documentation. We are willing to train the right person.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct jobsite safety walks and field observations
• Identify unsafe conditions or behaviors and document findings
• Work with supervisors and crews to address safety concerns
• Assist with new‑hire safety onboarding and orientation
• Maintain safety records, observation reports, and onboarding documentation
• Help ensure compliance with company safety policies and jobsite requirements
• Support safety training initiatives and toolbox talks
• Promote a positive, proactive safety culture on all job sites
  
  Expected Schedule
  Monday-Thursday: 6:00am to 4:30pm
  Friday: 6:00am to 2:30pm
  Ideal Candidate

  This role is perfect for someone who:

• Is new to construction safety and eager to learn
• Has strong attention to detail
• Is comfortable communicating with field crews
• Enjoys being in the field rather than behind a desk
• Takes safety seriously and leads by example

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Ability to walk job sites and work outdoors in varying conditions
• Basic computer skills (forms, reports, email)
• Strong organizational and communication skills

Preferred but Not Required

• Coursework or interest in construction, safety, or OSHA
• OSHA‑10 or OSHA‑30 (or willingness to obtain)
• Background in construction, electrical, mechanical, or trades
• Experience with onboarding or training coordination
