Duration: 3 Months Contract
Schedule: Tuesdays & Thursdays, 1:00 PM–5:30 PM
Pay Rate: $40/hour on W2
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced English Teacher / ESL Instructor to provide onsite English as a Second Language (ESL) and English for Specific Purposes (ESP) instruction to frontline team members.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable developing practical, engaging course materials and delivering instruction tailored to workplace communication needs. The instructor will also collaborate with partners and faculty members and participate in relevant training and professional development activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver onsite ESL/ESP classes for frontline team members.
- Develop and adapt course materials based on learners' language levels and workplace needs.
- Create practical lessons focused on effective English communication in a professional environment.
- Assess learner needs and adjust instructional approaches accordingly.
- Maintain an engaging and supportive classroom environment.
- Attend partner meetings to coordinate instructional goals and program requirements.
- Participate in faculty meetings and collaborate with other instructors.
- Attend required training and professional development sessions.
- Support continuous improvement of course content and instructional methods.
- Maintain professional communication with program stakeholders and team members.
Required Qualifications
- Experience teaching English as a Second Language (ESL) or English for Specific Purposes (ESP).
- Experience working with adult learners preferred.
- Strong classroom management and instructional skills.
- Ability to develop effective and engaging course materials.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work onsite and maintain the assigned Tuesday/Thursday schedule.
- Comfortable working with frontline employees from diverse backgrounds.
