Apartment Maintenance Technician
Location: Rochester
Pay: $25–$27/hour (based on experience)
Career Strategies is partnering with a well-maintained apartment community in Rochester, MN to hire a reliable Apartment Maintenance Technician. This is a long-term opportunity with steady hours and room to grow in the multifamily industry.
What You’ll Do
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on apartment units and common areas
- Complete work orders including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, drywall, painting, and appliance repair
- Prepare apartments for move-ins (turns/make-readies)
- Troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues efficiently
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized maintenance shop
- Participate in an on-call rotation as needed
What We’re Looking For
- Prior apartment or residential maintenance experience preferred
- Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general repairs
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely
- Strong troubleshooting and customer service skills
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
- EPA certification is a plus (not required)
