JOB SUMMARY
This position is a working manager role, which involves overseeing store operations while also fulfilling various team member responsibilities as needed. The app mana is accountable for the day-to-day operations of the store, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment for all team members. Additionally, the manager should strive to deliver a clean, pleasant, and secure shopping experience for all Falling Prices customers.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Direct reports, if any, and supervisory duties/responsibilities. Trains new staff, documentation, timekeeping, handles discipline/coaching, terminations.
· Ensuring that all team members are aware of the goals and visions of the store each day.
· Documenting all team member performance, attendance, communication, or any issues that arise.
· Conducting interviews with prospective team members.
· Scheduling of team members weekly.
· Submitting raise requests for employees to Human Resources as necessary.
· Submitting recommendations for employee promotion.
· Ensuring that all team members are clocking in/out correctly and checking for missed punch forms if necessary.
· Breaking cashiers and team members at the correct times according to state law.
· Communicating with team members calling out for a shift and responding appropriately while keeping documentation of the contact.
· Approving or denying time off requests for team members.
· Ensuring that all team members are trained and aware of all safety measures.
· Ensuring that all employees have completed and comply with discrimination and sexual harassment training.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Conduct morning meeting, delegate tasks (cleaning, stocking, counting registers).
· Partnering with the District Manager and Human Resources for the hiring and separating of team members.
· Working with the Online Marketer to promote store sales by sending daily pictures and updates of freight.
· Properly receiving trucks and submitting all necessary paperwork.
· Ensuring customer service is excellent and dealing with any issues that arise in a timely manner.
· Ensuring that the store has all the necessary supplies and submitting any need for supplies .
· Responding to alarms appropriately by answering the phone, traveling to the location, filling out missed punch form, securing the building, and rearming the building.
· Partnering with the District Manager to develop budgets and hit budget goals.
· Ensuring the store has change.
· Ensuring that the store remains EPA compliant.
