Heritage CDJR of Brigham City is looking for a reliable and hardworking Automotive Detailer to join our team in Perry, UT. This position is responsible for making sure vehicles are cleaned, detailed, and ready for delivery, display, or service customers. This role also helps maintain the overall appearance of the dealership by keeping the lot, wash bay, and facility clean and organized. The right candidate will take pride in their work, have strong attention to detail, and be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced dealership environment.
Responsibilities
- Clean and detail vehicle interiors and exteriors
- Wash, dry, vacuum, and prepare vehicles for customer delivery
- Clean windows, wheels, tires, mirrors, door jambs, and trim
- Shampoo carpets and seats when needed
- Buff, polish, and wax vehicles as needed
- Move vehicles safely around the lot and dealership property
- Keep the wash bay and detail area clean, organized, and presentable
- Maintain cleanliness of the dealership lot, including picking up trash, straightening inventory, and helping keep display areas neat
- Help keep the service drive, showroom, customer areas, and other dealership spaces clean and orderly as needed
- Assist with general dealership appearance and facility upkeep projects
- Inspect completed vehicles to ensure they meet dealership standards
- Assist the sales and service departments with vehicle preparation
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Ability to operate automatic and manual transmission vehicles preferred
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Ability to work on your feet for extended periods
- Ability to bend, lift, and work in indoor and outdoor conditions
- Prior detailing experience is preferred, but not required
- Must be dependable, punctual, and a team player
