Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Cloud Architect to lead the design, implementation, and management of highly available, secure, and resilient cloud network architectures across AWS and Microsoft Azure environments. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in cloud networking, hybrid connectivity, multi-cloud architecture, traffic engineering, network security, and disaster recovery solutions. This role requires hands-on experience with Megaport services, BGP routing, cloud-native networking services, and virtual firewall technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage enterprise-scale network infrastructure across AWS and Azure cloud environments.
• Architect highly available, fault-tolerant, multi-region, and multi-Availability Zone cloud network solutions.
• Design and implement hybrid connectivity solutions using AWS Transit Gateway, Azure ExpressRoute, Site-to-Site VPNs, and private cloud interconnects.
• Provision and manage Megaport Virtual Cross Connects (VXCs) to enable secure connectivity between on-premises and cloud environments.
• Design and manage network traffic engineering strategies, including routing optimization, ingress/egress management, path selection, and high-availability architectures.
• Deploy and manage cloud-native load balancing solutions, including AWS Elastic Load Balancing (ELB), Azure Load Balancer, and Azure Application Gateway.
• Implement and support virtual firewall solutions, including Palo Alto VM-Series, Cisco CSR 8000v, and native cloud security controls.
• Design and implement VPC and VNet peering, network segmentation, and secure multi-cloud connectivity architectures.
• Configure and manage Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) across cloud, hybrid, and multi-cloud environments.
• Establish secure cloud networking architectures aligned with security, governance, and compliance requirements.
• Develop disaster recovery, failover, and business continuity solutions for mission-critical environments.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and application teams to deliver scalable and resilient cloud networking solutions.

Required Experience

• Minimum 6 years of experience designing, implementing, and managing AWS and Azure cloud network infrastructure.
• Minimum 4 years of experience designing highly available and resilient cloud architectures, including disaster recovery and failover solutions.
• Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience with AWS and Azure networking services, including Transit Gateway, ExpressRoute, load balancing, routing, and hybrid connectivity.
• Minimum 4 years of experience implementing and supporting Megaport services, including VXC provisioning and private cloud connectivity solutions.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in network traffic engineering, routing optimization, network segmentation, firewall deployment, and secure connectivity design.

Required Technical Skills

• AWS Networking: VPC, Transit Gateway, Route Tables, Security Groups, NACLs, ELB, Multi-AZ and Multi-Region Architecture.
• Azure Networking: VNet, ExpressRoute, NSGs, Azure Load Balancer, Application Gateway, VNet Peering.
• Hybrid and Multi-Cloud Connectivity: Site-to-Site VPN, BGP, Private Connectivity, Megaport, VXC.
• Security Technologies: Palo Alto VM-Series, Cisco CSR 8000v, Network Segmentation, Cloud Security Controls.
• Traffic Engineering: Routing Optimization, Path Selection, Ingress/Egress Routing, High Availability Design.
• Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Planning.

Required Certifications (At Least One)

• AWS Certified Advanced Networking – Specialty
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Network Engineer Associate

Preferred Candidate Profile

• 8+ years of overall Network Engineering experience with deep expertise in AWS and Azure networking.
• Proven experience designing enterprise-scale hybrid and multi-cloud architectures.
• Strong understanding of cloud security principles, governance, and compliance frameworks.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working in large enterprise environments is highly preferred.
