Pay Range: $120,000.00+ annually, depending upon experience; potential for incentive bonus as well.
Position Location: Raleigh, North Carolina, in office. Potential for future hybrid work.

How will you contribute to our team?
- Litify Platform Development:
- Design and develop custom Apex classes, triggers, and batch jobs to automate personal injury case workflows.
- Build Lightning Web Components (LWC) and Aura Components.
- Create and maintain Process Builder flows and Screen Flows.
- Configure Litify Matter Plans with automated tasks.
- Develop custom objects and fields.
- Document Automation & Management:
- Implement automated document merge capabilities.
- Build bulk document generation processes.
- Configure Docrio integration for template management.
- Create multi-merge workflows.
- Establish automated PDF generation and e-signature workflows.
- Integration & API Development:
- Develop REST and SOAP API integrations.
- Build real-time data synchronization.
- Create secure API endpoints.
- Implement Platform Events for real-time notifications.
- Establish middleware solutions.
- Data Management & Analytics:
- Design and implement custom dashboards and reports.
- Create automated data validation rules and duplicate management for records.
- Build SOQL-based solutions for complex queries.
- Implement Einstein Analytics solutions.
- Establish data governance protocols (HIPAA and legal data security).
- Quality Assurance & Performance Optimization:
- Write comprehensive unit tests.
- Perform code reviews.
- Monitor system performance and optimize code.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
- Maintain development documentation.
- User Training & Support:
- Provide technical guidance and training.
- Create user documentation and training materials.
- Collaborate with end users to gather requirements.
- Serve as primary technical contact.
- Project Management & Collaboration:
- Participate in Agile development cycles.
- Collaborate with legal teams.
- Work with external vendors and consultants.
- Manage multiple development projects simultaneously while maintaining quality standards.
- Adaptability to changing priorities in a fast-paced legal environment.
- Some Travel may be required.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related technical field from an accredited institution.
- Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on Salesforce development experience including Apex, Lightning Web Components, and declarative development tools.
- 2+ years of experience with Litify platform development, customization, and administration preferred.
- Experience in legal technology, case management systems, or personal injury law firm operations strongly preferred.
- Proven track record of successful system implementations and integrations in enterprise environments.
Required Technical Competencies:
- Salesforce Platform Expertise: Advanced in Apex, SOQL/SOSL, Salesforce Object Model, and governor limits optimization.
- Salesforce Artificial Intelligence: Einstein AI proficiency
- Lightning Development: Expert in Lighting Web Components (LWC), Aura Components, Lightning App Builder, and Lightning Design System.
- Salesforce Certifications: Platform Developer I required; Platform Developer II, JavaScript Developer I, and Administrator preferred.
- Integration Technologies: REST/SOAP APIs, Platform Events, Outbound Messages, Salesforce Connect, MuleSoft, Tray.io.
- Development Tools: Salesforce DX, Visual Studio Code, Git version control, CI/CD 5 pipeline management.
- Database: Advanced data modeling, relationship design, custom objects, Data Loader. Salesforce Inspector
- Web Technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript ES6+, modern frontend frameworks.
- Security & Compliance: Enterprise security protocols, data privacy, access control.
- Performance Optimization: Code efficiency, bulk processing, system monitoring.
- Testing & Quality Assurance: Unit testing, integration, automated testing framework experience.
Preferred Technical Skills (Litify & Law Firm Specific):
- Matter Management: Legal case management workflows, client-matter relationships, and case progression tracking.
- Database Experience: SQL, relational database concepts, and data warehouse principles for complex integrations.
- Document Automation: Document merge functionality, template configuration, and bulk processing capabilities.
- Legal Workflow Knowledge: Personal injury case lifecycles, intake processes, and settlement workflows.
- Compliance Understanding: HIPAA requirements, legal data privacy, and attorney-client privilege protections.
- Legal Tech Integration: Integrating with medical record providers, insurance systems, or legal-specific third-party applications.
Project Management & Soft Skills:
- Agile/SCRUM methodology experience with ability to work in 2-week sprint cycles.
- Strong project management skills with ability to manage multiple concurrent development initiatives.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities with creative approach to technical challenges that allow us to achieve positive outcomes.
- Leadership capabilities to mentor junior developers and guide technical decision-making.
- Adaptability to rapidly changing priorities and requirements in a fast-paced legal environment.
