We are urgently seeking a talented and passionate hair stylist to join our team at our hair salon. This is a woman-owned small business located in Murray Hill, Manhattan. The ideal candidate is skilled in providing a range of professional hair services, including washing, coloring, blow-drying, and styling. Excellent customer service and teamwork are essential. We are seeking a part-time or full-time stylist who is motivated, creative, and dedicated to delivering a great salon experience for our clients.
Responsibilities
- Provide a range of professional hair services, including washing, cutting, coloring, blow-drying, and styling.
- Maintain sanitation and cleanliness standards in accordance with salon and state regulations.
- Use salon software for appointment scheduling and client management.
- Provide excellent customer service and build lasting relationships with clients.
- Assist with front desk operations when needed, including greeting clients and processing payments.
Skills
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
- Strong ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
- Demonstrated customer service skills with a focus on building lasting relationships with clients.
- Knowledge of current hair trends, techniques, and products.
- Experience with salon management tasks or salon software is a plus.
