NECAC is a not-for-profit Community Action Agency that helps empower people and change their lives by becoming self sufficient through our various programs. One of our most popular programs is our Housing Voucher program. In order to help these folks find a home to live in we need Housing Counselors, that's where you come in!
NECAC Housing Counselors provide assistance to private housing landlords and guidance counseling to low and moderate income families, elderly and handicapped clients in the multi-county area. You'll be helping applicants to complete the required paperwork and necessary steps to obtain a housing voucher that will help them to be able to afford housing. Housing Counselors are also responsible for developing and recruiting new landlords as well.

We are looking for applicants who have at least a year of customer service and computer experience. Attention to detail and good written/spoken communication skills are necessary.
