Job Description
Seeks customer service friendly design Engineer with strong knowledge and experience in SolidWorks, pump, and filtration design. Engineer will lead the company to its next generation of products and advancements in existing products. While developing and maintaining system to keep all engineering documentation current and up to date.
The right Candidate will be able to:
· Able to handle daily trouble-shooting calls with customers in a friendly and effective manner.
· Efficiently and effectively update existing drawing/plans and build books,
· Create drawings/plans and build books from initial concept discussions,
· Keep all drawings/plans and build books current and up to date.
· Evaluate manufacturing part layouts methods, utilizing knowledge of materials formation, fabrication processes, tooling and production equipment capabilities, and assembly methods to ensure an efficient and cost-effective assembly process.
· Effectively trouble-shoot existing product challenges/issues to determine root cause and actionable solution.
· Run documented quality tests to prove reliability on new and existing products.
· Work independently in a constant improvement environment, providing actionable engineering solutions.
Qualifications
· Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent work experience.
· Advanced proficiency in Solid Works is a must.
· 3+ years of Microsoft Suite experience. Apple software a plus.
· 3+ years using AcctVantage or other ERP software.
· Independent thinker, self-motivated, self-starter, and a team player.
· Take charge attitude in all things engineering.
· Excellent planning and organizational skills.
· Must be able to effectively and efficiently multitask and re-prioritize tasks.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· CNC programming and operational experience a plus.
