NestFix Maintenance Corp. is hiring certified handyman, HVAC, plumbing, and electrical technicians in (All Boroughs) New York City and surrounding areas. Flexible schedule, competitive pay, and consistent maintenance work available. Certifications required.

The ideal candidate is prompt, reliable, professional, and customer-focused, with strong technical skills and a proven ability to deliver high-quality service. This role requires independent work, accurate reporting, and consistent communication with our vendor management team.

Key ResponsibilitiesClient Service & Site Inspections

• Conduct on-site inspections and thoroughly evaluate reported maintenance issues

• Accurately diagnose problems and determine proper repair solutions

• Provide detailed material pricing and estimated labor hours

• Ensure all inspections, assessments, and reports are complete, accurate, and reliable

• Maintain strong professional relationships with clients and tenants

• Follow company procedures and vendor guidelines at all times

Technical Services

(Assigned based on certification and skill set)

• Handyman / General Maintenance:
  Drywall repair, doors, locks, trim, fixtures, minor carpentry, painting touch-ups

• Plumbing:
  Leak repairs, clogs, toilets, sinks, faucets, valves, drain cleaning

• HVAC:
  Basic diagnostics, maintenance, and repair (as certified)

• Electrical:
  Outlets, switches, fixtures, minor electrical repairs (as certified and permitted)

Professional Conduct & Compliance

• Maintain punctuality and professionalism at all job sites

• Demonstrate respectful, courteous behavior with tenants and clients

• Follow all instructions from the vendor manager to ensure accuracy and efficiency

• Comply with all safety regulations and job-site requirements

• Upload required photos, documentation, and job notes via smartphone

Requirements

• Must provide valid certification(s) related to your trade (handyman / HVAC / plumbing / electrical).

• Ability to work independently without supervision

• General understanding of material pricing and labor estimation

• Ability to complete tasks efficiently and within expected timelines

• Strong communication skills and consistent contact with the vendor manager

• Professional attitude, accountability, and reliability

• Knowledge of and compliance with all safety requirements

• Reliable transportation and own basic tools

• Smartphone required for job updates and documentation

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with property management or property maintenance companies

• Multi-skilled technicians are strongly encouraged to apply
