Data Analyst
Long Term Temporary | M-F | 8:30 am - 5:00 pm
$50 - $70/hour

We are partnering with a local company to recruit a skilled Data Analyst to support facilities and operations through advanced reporting, data transformation, automation, and business intelligence solutions across the Microsoft ecosystem.
Responsibilities:
- Advanced Data Transformation: Utilize Power Query and SQLto extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from disparate sources (including BigQuery), ensuring data cleanliness before it reaches Power BI or Excel models.
- Power BI Environment Management & Development: Architect and govern the overarching Power BI ecosystem, managing workspace deployment, building complex semantic models, and authoring advanced DAXmeasures to ensure scalable, accurate vendor performance reporting.
- Ad HocRequest Management: Monitor and fulfill data requests via MS Planner, prioritizing tasks based on operational urgency and maintaining transparent status updates for the Facilities team.
- Stakeholder Liaison & Requirement Gathering: Act as a primary ambassador between the Facilities department and broader business units, translating operational needs into precise technical requirements and ensuring data solutions align with departmental goals.
- Automated WorkflowDevelopment: Build and maintain Power Automate flows to streamline repetitive tasks, such as automated email notifications for vendor performance thresholds or data refresh alerts.
- Executive Presentation Support: Translate complex datasetsinto clean, high-impact PowerPoint slide decks for leadership reviews, ensuring data visualizations are accurate and executive-ready.
- AI-Assisted Productivity: Demonstrate high aptitude in utilizing Microsoft Copilotand other AI resources to accelerate code writing, draft documentation, and troubleshoot technical bottlenecks.
- System Aptitude: Operate with a high degree of comfort across the entire Microsoft environment, serving as a technical Swiss-army knife for the facilities and operations department.

- AI-Assisted Productivity:Demonstrate high aptitude in utilizing Microsoft Copilot and other AI resources to accelerate code writing (DAX/SQL), draft documentation, and troubleshoot technical bottlenecks.
- DAX& SQL Maintenance: Provide ongoing support for established Power BI measures and BigQuery scripts, ensuring that vendor rankings and work order metrics remain accurate.

Requirements:
- 3-5+ years in:

- Data analytics
- Business intelligence
- Reporting / data operations
- Experience supporting operations, facilities, or vendor performance metrics is a plus
- Proven track record of:

- Managing multiple data requests
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills (especially translating data for non-technical stakeholders)
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple requests (ticketing tools like MS Planner)
- High attention to detail and data accuracy
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with workflow optimization or process improvement initiatives
- Familiarity with facilities management systems or operations data
- Exposure to Agile or project management methodologies
- Power BI certification
