About the Opportunity
The team supporting this division delivers world‑class filtration and separation solutions to clients worldwide. They specialize in high‑quality repairs, custom builds, and complete process support, particularly within the agricultural sector—focusing on wet and dry milling processes.
The Field Service Technician plays a critical role in ensuring successful installation, start‑up, optimization, and ongoing performance of equipment at customer sites. This position leads commissioning efforts, performs equipment inspections, and ensures systems operate safely, efficiently, and according to specification.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead on‑site start‑up, commissioning, and optimization of electrical and mechanical systems
- Conduct detailed equipment checks and verify proper installation
- Record and analyze performance data to ensure peak efficiency
- Perform repairs and preventative maintenance on field‑deployed equipment
- Collaborate with vendors, contractors, and project teams to meet project timelines
- Produce clear, concise technical reports and punch lists for project closeouts
Required Qualifications
- Experience in engineering, technical services, or related field (degree preferred but not required with relevant experience)
- 2+ years of field service experience, including work with mechanical systems, electrical systems, and high‑speed rotating equipment
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals
- Familiarity with control panels, motor starters, AC/DC drives, and instrumentation
- Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving abilities
- Ability to thrive in fast‑paced environments with extensive travel (up to 75%, including domestic and international assignments)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with programmable controllers and operator interface terminals

This is a Permanent position based out of Missouri Valley, IA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $72800.00 - $85280.00/yr.
