\nPay Rate: $33.00 - $45.00 per hour
\nShift: 1st
\nWhat’s a typical day as Maintenance Worker? You’ll be:\n
- \n\t
- Setting up and operating manual machining equipment including lathes, mills, drill presses, grinders, and saws.\n\t
- Fabricating, modifying, and repairing brackets, guards, frames, pipe supports, machine components, and custom tooling.\n\t
- Supporting production equipment maintenance: machining replacement parts, repairing mechanical assemblies, and assisting with modifications to improve reliability.\n\t
- Performing welding (MIG, TIG, stick) and general metal fabrication tasks.\n\t
- Conducting precision layout and measurement using micrometers, calipers, and dial indicators.\n\t
- Collaborating with maintenance teams to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime.\n\t
- Troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining facility infrastructure and utility systems including boilers, pumps, compressed air, water, steam, and general building systems.\n\t
- Performing preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on facility and production equipment.\n\t
- Installing, aligning, and commissioning new facility systems.\n\t
- Responding to facility maintenance requests and emergency repairs.\n\t
- Installing, modifying, and repairing piping systems (water, compressed air, steam, condensate, utility lines), including pipe fitting, threading, cutting, and bending.\n
\nThis job might be an outstanding fit if you:\n\n
- \n\t
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent (required).\n\t
- Minimum 4 years of experience in facilities maintenance, machining, fabrication, pipefitting, mechanical/Industrial systems, commercial, government, or military environment (required).\n\t
- Basic electrical troubleshooting knowledge.\n\t
- Possess strong troubleshooting and mechanical repair skills in an industrial environment.\n\t
- Can confidently use manual machining equipment and precision measurement tools.\n\t
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, and piping schematics.\n\t
- Experience installing and repairing industrial piping systems.\n\t
- Are familiar with welding, metal fabrication, and facility utility systems.\n
