Job Description

A leading personal injury law firm located in Manhattan’s Financial District is seeking a skilled Litigation Paralegal to join our fast-paced and collaborative team. The ideal candidate will bring extensive plaintiff-side personal injury experience and play a key role in supporting attorneys through all phases of a case, from intake to trial.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and file pleadings, discovery demands and responses, subpoenas, motions, and other litigation documents
• Manage case files from inception through trial, ensuring all materials are organized and up to date
• Conduct legal research and prepare summaries of medical records, deposition transcripts, and investigative materials
• Coordinate and schedule depositions, IMEs, hearings, mediations, and court appearances
• Maintain and track case calendars, deadlines, and statute dates
• Communicate professionally with clients, experts, court staff, and opposing counsel
• Assist with trial preparation, including preparing trial binders, exhibits, and witness materials

Requirements

• Minimum 3+ years of litigation experience with a strong focus on plaintiff-side personal injury
• Demonstrated knowledge of New York court rules and e-filing systems, including NYSCEF and PACER
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• High level of accuracy, organization, and attention to detail
• Ability to prioritize tasks and thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal case management software
