Internet Sales Representative
Location: Farmingdale, NY
Pay: $18/hour
Key Responsibilities:
· Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, chat, and other digital channels
· Provide information on products, pricing, promotions, and order status
· Assist customers with navigating the website and making purchases
· Offer personalized product recommendations based on customer needs
· Handle post-sale support including order tracking, returns, and exchanges
· Support online marketing efforts (campaigns, promotions, email newsletters)
· Ensure product listings are accurate, current, and optimized for SEO
· Maintain detailed records of customer interactions using CRM tools
· Monitor online sales trends and identify opportunities for improvement
· Share customer feedback with the merchandising team to help guide inventory decisions
· Stay knowledgeable about product offerings to guide informed purchasing
· Work toward monthly and quarterly sales targets and KPIs
Qualifications:
· High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred
· Experience in sales, account management, or e-commerce highly preferred
· Strong communication and customer service skills
· Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
· Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot)
· Quick learner with the ability to absorb product and service knowledge
· Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask effectively
· Team player who can also work independently
· Experience with e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento) is a plus
