Part-time to full-time — 20 to 40 hours per week

About the Client:
We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Personal Caregiver to provide care for non-ambulatory clients with dementia who live with family. The clients require supportive care in their home, and the role also includes providing respite assistance to the family.
Primary Responsibilities:

Assist with feeding, bathing, toileting, incontinence, and other personal care needs

Transferring the client from bed to wheelchair and vice versa
-
Provide meaningful companionship and conversation
-
Offer respite care support to family members
-
Engage the client in calming, structured activities
-
Monitor overall safety and offer gentle redirection as needed
Qualifications:
-
Experience caring for older adults, especially individuals with dementia
-
Ability to communicate fluently in English (bilingual is a plus)

Ability to build rapport with the client
-
Kind, patient, and observant
-
Reliable and professional demeanor
Requirements:
-
Must be registered as a Home Care Aide (HCA) in California
-
Valid Driver’s License and active car insurance
-
TB test completed within the last 90 days
-
Willingness to undergo a DOI background check
-
Completion of 5 hours of paid training within the first week of onboarding
-
Two professional references required
Compensation:
$20/hour
Includes sick leave and overtime pay when applicable
