Job DescriptionOur Healthcare client is seeking to fill several Guest Services contract roles, both part time and fulltime hours, varying shifts.
Guest Services provides personal assistance, support and resources for patients and guests. The focus is on our guest's unique needs before, during and after their visit. Guest Services provides a one call resource for patients and families.What you will do:• Support the day to day operations of the service recovery and patient amenity programs, facilities and emergency management programs as well as the retail program. Ensures inventory is in place and ensures through reporting mechanisms correct utilization of such items. Provides in-services as necessary across the organization. Continuously assesses and tries to improve department’s performance based on “customer” needs; directs and participates in improving performance and services which benefit staff, patients and other customers.• Ensures retail programs meet sales goals, supports merchandise plan against inventory; enforces pricing strategies.• Support department process improvements that are in place and follows up to ensure sustainability. Ensures compliance for patient amenities’ infection control protocols are followed.• Participates in cross-functional workgroups as required to help foster design programs that are patient and family centered.• Assists in the implementation of changes based on data analysis related to productivity, quality control and desired outcomes.Education Qualifications:• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with a major in management, healthcare administration, business administration, hospitality services, or a related field preferredExperience Qualifications:• 3 years of progressively responsible and directly-related work experienceRequired Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:• Knowledge of principles, practices, standards, and current trends in customer service• POS systems knowledge preferred• Ability to adjust communication to fit the needs and level of understanding of the receiver• Ability to demonstrate customer services and navigation skills in interactions with patients, families, physicians, nurses, and other staffLicenses and Certifications:• None
