Role Overview
The Manager of IT Services is responsible for leading the implementation of the technology vision and supporting initiatives defined in the Digital Transformation plan of the Group aiming to modernize application platforms and to facilitate the integration of USPL with Biofarma.
This role will assess current IT infrastructure, oversee new system rollouts and ensure that all IT services align with Biofarma’s global standards, key performance indicators (KPIs), and measurement frameworks. Reporting to the VP of HR and functionally to the Chief Information Officer, this role is instrumental in driving operational consistency, data transparency, and digital alignment across the organization.
T The Manager of IT Services must be able to operate strategically, as well as be willing and able to “roll up their sleeves” and get things done. The person will then be responsible for managing, delivering and reporting on the progress of the IT initiatives within Americas
Areas of Responsibility
Manage and lead large scale projects within North America.
- To be noticed that “transformation projects” are defined and planned at Group level and the implementation strategy will be driven by the Group CIO.
Assessment & Optimization of IT Systems:
- Evaluate the current IT landscape to identify inefficiencies, risks, or outdated technologies.
- Propose and execute system upgrades or replacements to support business scalability and reliability.
Transformation & Organizational Integration:
- Oversee IT aspects of USPL's transformation and integration into Biofarma, ensuring alignment of processes, KPIs, and reporting frameworks.
- Partners with all departments to support digital tools that enable workforce planning, talent management, and organizational development.
IT Strategy & Execution:
- Contribute to develop and manage implementation of strategic IT roadmap in alignment with business objectives and Biofarma’s integration goals.
- Drive adoption of digital tools and platforms that support operational excellence and cross-functional collaboration.
- Participate, develop, and adhere to the global IT governance infrastructure.
- Evaluate the possibility of centralizing certain technology and infrastructure activities.
- Ensure the security of IT systems by guaranteeing the implementation of Group policies and procedures in order to protect company assets and by maintaining effective security/backup and disaster recovery processes and systems.
Budget, Performance Management & KPI Standardization:
- Participate in developing the global and Americas IT budget. Assure continuous monitoring of expenses providing adequate forecasting in line with the timelines defined by the Group.
- Implement all the processes and procedures defined at Group Level, assuring full compliance and timeline respect.
- Implement systems to track, measure, and report on performance using standardized KPIs in line with Biofarma’s methodology.
- Enable data-driven decision-making through robust reporting tools and business intelligence solutions.
Team Leadership & Vendor Oversight:
- Lead and mentor the IT services team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
- Manage external vendors, consultants, and implementation partners to ensure timely and effective project delivery.
- Maintain current knowledge of technology developments and trends, and coordinate with Group ICT the implementation of changes as appropriate.

Requirements
Education & Qualification:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field.
- At least 10 years of progressive IT leadership experience, including direct responsibility for ERP implementations.
- Strong track record of managing IT transformation and integration initiatives.
- Experience working in global or multinational organizations.

Physical Requirements (lifting, etc.):
- The employee is frequently required to sit (50%), stand, and walk (50%); use of hands to finger, handle or feel writing tools and computer keyboard; may reach with hands and arms and infrequently may lift up to 30lbs.; uses desk telephone/cell phone to talk and hear or converse with other employees.
Work Environment (Office, Warehouse, temperature extremes, etc.):
- Primarily located in an office environment where temperatures are controlled for heat and air conditioning; occasionally walks through Offices, warehouse or manufacturing workplace and will be required to wear appropriate PPE for each work area including safety shoes, hair net, safety glasses, face mask, gloves, or disposable jumpsuit.
