Description
Candidate will help build GitLab-based DevSecOps automated pipelines into AWS gov cloud; support and enable application delivery times on CI/CD platform; manage and operate GitLab CI/CD.
Certification
- GitLab certification highly desired but not required.
- AWS certification highly desired but not required.
The engineer will:
- Architect and manage GitLab CI/CD pipelines, runners, and reusable job templates
- Integrate security testing (SAST, DAST, IAST, SCA, container scanning) directly into automated workflows
- Support containerized workloads (Docker, Kubernetes, EKS) with hardened images and secure deployment strategies
- Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and related tools
- Operate in a Linux-based environment, scripting and automating operational and security tasks
This position supports federal systems in AWS GovCloud, requiring strong cloud security posture, release governance, and compliance-aligned DevSecOps practices.
