Job Description

Job Description

A distinguished, specialist financial services organization with operations spanning several international markets is looking for a seasoned and forward-thinking technology executive to take the helm of its entire technology function. This represents an exceptional opportunity to assume a C-suite leadership position within a high-caliber, niche firm that serves an elite clientele of ultra-high-net-worth individuals and institutional partners worldwide.

The successful candidate will step into a dynamic environment with several technology projects already underway — among them AI-driven client portals and internal process automation tools — and will be charged with steering these to successful delivery while simultaneously charting the firm's broader technology vision. Our client is looking for a leader who can operate fluidly between executive-level strategic discussions and hands-on technical oversight of architecture decisions and vendor output.

This is a full-time, on-site position located in Aventura, Florida. Our client maintains a strong in-person working culture, and all candidates must be prepared to be on-site daily. For standout candidates, relocation support is available.

Core Responsibilities

AI & Digital Product Delivery

  • Remain at the forefront of developments in artificial intelligence and machine learning, ensuring our client's technology capabilities stay current and competitive.
  • Take ownership of the firm's AI-powered product portfolio, encompassing both external-facing digital platforms and internal decision-support tools.
  • Conduct a thorough assessment of all active development efforts, pinpointing risks, realigning priorities where needed, and driving projects through to production-ready completion.

Strategic Technology Direction

  • Act as the senior technology advisor to the executive team, distilling complex technical matters into actionable business insights.
  • Craft, own, and execute a comprehensive technology strategy that supports business goals across both domestic and international operations.
  • Lead the evaluation, selection, and ongoing governance of external technology partners, ensuring strict adherence to agreed timelines, deliverables, and quality standards.

Infrastructure & Systems Oversight

  • Ensure all technology platforms satisfy cybersecurity standards and comply with regulatory obligations relevant to internationally operating financial services firms.
  • Architect and safeguard the systems responsible for managing sensitive financial and client data across multiple regulatory jurisdictions.
  • Administer and continuously improve the firm's Microsoft-centric technology environment, including CRM systems (Microsoft Dynamics), collaboration tools, and third-party integrations.

Digital Properties & Web Presence

  • Partner with internal marketing stakeholders and external web development agencies to keep all digital properties secure, contemporary, and well-maintained.
  • Provide strategic and technical leadership over the firm's portfolio of client-facing websites.

People & Partner Management

  • Own and manage all vendor relationships — current and future — ensuring that scopes of work, budgets, and milestones are clearly defined and consistently delivered.
  • Progressively build, structure, and develop a high-performing internal technology team aligned to the firm's scaling ambitions.

Requirements

Essential Qualifications

  • Meaningful tenure in financial services, fintech, wealth management, insurtech, or another heavily regulated sector.
  • Proven ability to rescue, restructure, or turn around technology initiatives that have stalled or underdelivered.
  • Deep, practical knowledge of software engineering principles, systems architecture, and full-stack development paradigms.
  • A minimum of ten years in progressive technology leadership positions, including three to five years serving in a CTO or equivalent executive capacity.
  • Hands-on proficiency in artificial intelligence and machine learning, with direct involvement in building or directing AI-powered product development.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication abilities, particularly the skill to bridge the gap between deeply technical teams and non-technical business leaders.
  • Established experience directing third-party development firms and vendor teams across complete project lifecycles.
  • Strong command of Microsoft enterprise ecosystems, with familiarity with CRM platforms — experience with Microsoft Dynamics is particularly valued.
  • Must be available and willing to work on-site full-time in Aventura, Florida.

Desirable Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience with insurance technology, including premium financing platforms or estate planning solutions.
  • Exposure to cybersecurity frameworks and compliance standards specific to the financial services industry.
  • A bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a closely related discipline (equivalent hands-on experience will be considered).
  • Familiarity with AI-powered chatbot development and their integration into enterprise CRM workflows.
  • Prior experience operating within or alongside financial services firms with multi-jurisdictional footprints (spanning the U.S., Europe, and/or the Middle East).
  • A track record of delivering client-facing financial portals, digital wallet products, or comparable consumer-oriented fintech applications.
  • Experience leading or overseeing property and casualty insurance quoting engines or aggregator-style insurance platforms.

Benefits

Base Salary: $200,000 to $300,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.

Additional Benefits:

  • Eligibility for performance-driven bonuses
  • Full health, dental, and vision coverage
  • Paid Time Off in line with firm policy
  • Relocation support for candidates moving to the South Florida area
  • The chance to join a prestigious, rapidly growing international financial services organization
