Our client, a premier Law Firm is looking for a 5 plus years Corporate Transactional & Real Estate Legal Assistant to join their fast-growing corporate and transactional healthcare legal practice. This position requires excellent computer skills and 5 plus years of corporate and transactional legal assisting experience with a law firm. The candidate should have 5+ years of experience as a legal administrative assistant directly supporting attorneys in a law firm environment. Strong interest in the corporate, real estate field of law, knowledge of M& A, and the transactional process, including editing and compiling documents and closing binders, recording documents, obtaining signatures, etc. Excellent computer skills including Word, Excel, Outlook, iManage/FileSite, Carpe Diem, Elite PowerPoint, Visio and Internet searches. Attention to detail and a strong sense of pride in personal work product. Superior typing and word processing skills required. Outstanding oral and written communications skills essential. • At least 5 years of experience as a legal assistant or legal administrative assistant within a law firm setting.
• Demonstrated background supporting corporate transactional and real estate legal work.
• Working knowledge of mergers and acquisitions processes, document preparation, and closing procedures.
• Strong technical proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Visio, and legal document management or time-entry systems such as iManage/FileSite, Carpe Diem, and Elite.
• Excellent typing, formatting, and word processing abilities with exceptional attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with attorneys, clients, and internal teams.
• Experience handling calendars, maintaining organized files, and managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced legal environment.
• Commitment to producing high-quality work and delivering high-quality client service.
