Workers' Compensation Claims Supervisor

Salary: $92,000–$102,000 annually
Employment Type: Full-Time
Work Arrangement: Based on location and client requirements

Position Overview

A leading national Third-Party Administrator (TPA) is seeking an experienced Workers' Compensation Claims Supervisor to oversee a team of claims examiners and support staff. This position is responsible for ensuring quality claims handling, managing team performance, and maintaining strong client relationships.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Workers' Compensation indemnity, lost time, complex claims, and litigation, along with supervisory experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise, train, and mentor a team of Workers' Compensation claims examiners and support staff.

  • Oversee complex indemnity, lost time, and litigated claims.

  • Monitor claim investigations, compensability decisions, reserves, settlements, and file closures.

  • Conduct claim file reviews to ensure compliance with state regulations and client guidelines.

  • Provide technical guidance on complex claims and litigation strategies.

  • Monitor caseloads, productivity, and overall team performance.

  • Maintain client relationships and participate in claim reviews.

  • Assist with employee development, performance evaluations, and training.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of Workers' Compensation claims experience preferred.

  • Previous supervisory or team leadership experience.

  • Strong knowledge of Workers' Compensation laws and jurisdictional requirements.

  • Experience with indemnity, lost time, complex, and litigated claims.

  • Strong client management, communication, and organizational skills.

  • Proficiency in claims management systems and Microsoft Office.

  • Applicable state adjuster licensing or certifications.

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

· May on occasion be exposed to loud sounds and distracting noise levels, such as from office equipment.

· The ability to lift up to 30lbs
