Organization Profile: Hawthorne Foundation Inc. serves children and adults with autism and other developmental disabilities. Our educational, vocational and life skills programs are only a few of the programs available. We also offer parent training, recreational activities and crisis intervention.
Mission: An Applied Behavior Analysis approach to lifelong quality educational, habilitative, vocational and recreational programs for individuals with autism and other intellectual disabilities.

Job Responsibilities (Residential Manager):
- Supervise and coordinate efforts of staff assigned to the residence.
- Schedule and chair weekly staff meetings.
- Accurately complete residential reports and attend all Program Planning Team meetings (annual, semi-annual, and other).
- Acts as liaison between all contracted services and agencies for the IRA-facilitating prompt notification and coordination of contracted services.
- Guarantee that any deficiencies present in the physical environment are corrected in a timely fashion. Ensures compliance with regulations (federal, state and local) and agency policies and procedures.
- Develop and maintain records of emergency evacuation (fire drills) in accordance with state and federal regulations.
- Develops a budget for the home, and ensures that operations of the home fall within these budgetary guidelines.
- Participates in In-Service training.
- Becomes certified in First Aid, CPR, SCIP, Medication Administration within 3 months of employment.
- Directly responsible for ensuring the health, safety, and welfare of all consumers residing within this home.
- Follows all Hawthorne Foundation policies and procedures.
- On call 24 hours a day/7 days a week.

Required education: Bachelor’s Degree in Special Education, Social Services, Psychology and/or Human Development
Required experience (if applicable):Two years experience with the adult disabled
Required license or certification (if applicable):CPR/AED, SCIP-R, AMAP Certified
