Kelly® Professional & Industrial is hiring Assistant Machine Operators for a manufacturing company in Statesville, NC.
This is a great opportunity for candidates with previous warehouse or manufacturing experience who are comfortable working 12-hour shifts in a fast-paced production environment.
Position Details
Location: Statesville, NC
Schedule: 2-2-3 Rotating Schedule
Every Other Weekend Required
1st Shift
- 7:45 AM – 8:00 PM
- $16.00 per hour
2nd Shift
- 7:45 PM – 8:00 AM
- $18.00 per hour
Pay Schedule: Weekly pay every Friday
Job Responsibilities
- Feed materials into production machinery
- Mix resin and other production materials
- Move rolls of film onto pallets
- Assist Machine Operators with machine setup
- Enter production data into the computer system
- Perform quality control inspections
- Move and handle materials throughout the production area
- Push, pull, and lift materials weighing up to 55 lbs.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Follow all company safety and production procedures
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- High school diploma or GED required
- Previous warehouse, manufacturing, or production experience preferred
- Must be able to work a 12-hour rotating schedule
- Must be available to work every other weekend
- Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 55 lbs.
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Steel-toe shoes are required
Important Facility Policies
This is a 100% tobacco-free facility.
Employees may not leave the premises during their shift to smoke or vape.
The following items are not permitted during working hours:
- Jewelry
- Smart watches
- Piercings
Piercings cannot be covered with a bandage and must be completely removed before beginning work.
Strong perfumes and fragrances are also not permitted.
Safety glasses and hearing protection will be provided by the company.
