Now Hiring: Quality Technician (Rome, GA)

Shift: Full-Time, Hourly (Rotating 3/2 schedule 12 hours)

Compensation: $21.00 to $25.50 Competitive pay based on experience.

***Sign On Bonus Eligible $3,000 (1/2 paid 1/2 at six months and 1/2 paid at one year).

Role Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Technician with 1–2 years of hands-on experience in a quality department within a manufacturing environment. This role is essential to upholding and improving the Quality Culture at our Rome facility. As a key partner to operations, maintenance, engineering, and supplier teams, the Quality Technician serves as the “Voice of the Customer,” ensuring product integrity and process compliance across all production shifts. Key responsibilities include conducting quality inspections, performing audits, supporting quality assurance initiatives, and assisting with the implementation of quality management processes. Collaboration with production teams and reporting on quality metrics will also be essential for success in this role.


Qualifications

What You’ll Do:

  • Perform quality checks, lab testing, and documentation audits
  • Support production teams with training on quality procedures
  • Investigate product issues and assist in corrective actions
  • Monitor and manage materials in the Quality Hold area
  • Work closely with operations, engineering, and suppliers


What We’re Looking For:

  • 1–2 years of quality experience in a manufacturing setting
  • Familiarity with SQF or other food safety programs preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and communication skills
  • Strong communication and ability to work with all employees across all departments.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
