About the Role
As Global Systems Manager, you will:
- Lead a global team of 30+ professionals, including 5 direct reports, across project management, proposals, and systems integration
- Drive strategic initiatives to improve project execution, forecasting, and risk management
- Oversee the design, approval, and manufacturing of custom fire and gas detection control systems
- Collaborate cross-functionally with finance, operations, and sales to ensure successful project delivery
- Champion employee engagement, performance recognition, and career development
- Travel internationally to support and align global teams
Key Responsibilities
- Set strategic direction and priorities for the Systems Group
- Lead process improvements and project execution initiatives
- Manage global project scheduling and resource allocation
- Monitor and report on key performance metrics
- Ensure compliance with EHS standards and ethical practices
- Oversee budgets, staffing plans, and organizational changes
- Implement and train teams on CRM, ERP, and project tools
- Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, technical, or manufacturing field (Master’s preferred)
- 10+ years of experience in related disciplines
- 5+ years of direct leadership experience
- Experience with fire and gas detection systems or related industries
- Global experience with panel building, EPC delivery, and industrial product integration
- Proven success in strategic planning and business performance management
- Experience with direct sales, marketing, and project-based delivery
- Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills
- Experience leading complex, matrixed, and multicultural teams
