Key Roles & Responsibilities

• Build, assemble, and maintain inverter test setups and electromechanical test stands.
• Fabricate and inspect low-voltage (LV) and high-voltage (HV) wiring harnesses.
• Assemble, instrument, and test prototype inverter components and samples.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings.
• Operate laboratory equipment such as HV testers, thermal chambers, and power cyclers.
• Troubleshoot test systems, diagnose issues, and support corrective actions.
• Perform teardown, repair, and maintenance of test equipment and fixtures.
• Support laboratory operations including inventory control, calibration, shipping/receiving, and workplace organization.
• Follow all safety procedures, including LOTO/ECPL and high-voltage safety requirements.
  

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED (Associate degree preferred).
• 3+ years of experience in R&D, validation, or test laboratory environments.
• 2+ years of experience in LV/HV wiring harness fabrication and assembly.
• Experience with mechanical fabrication, test fixture construction, and prototyping.
• Ability to read and troubleshoot using electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
• Strong knowledge of high-voltage systems (50VDC–1000VDC, 208VAC–480VAC).
• Familiarity with laboratory safety practices, including LOTO/ECPL.
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with 3D printing and rapid prototyping.
• Knowledge of GD&T and blueprint reading.
• Proficiency with precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, dial indicators).
• Experience with through-hole and SMT PCB soldering.
