Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Litigation Associate to join our dynamic legal team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the litigation process, managing case files, and assisting in the preparation of legal documents and strategies. This role offers the opportunity to work on a diverse range of cases and develop expertise in litigation practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in all phases of litigation, including discovery, trial preparation, and post-trial motions
  • Draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and briefs
  • Conduct legal research and prepare legal memoranda
  • Manage case files and maintain organization of case documentation
  • Communicate with clients to provide updates and gather necessary information
  • Participate in negotiations and settlement discussions
  • Prepare for and attend court hearings and trials
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys on case strategy and legal analysis

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
  • Active license to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction
  • 1-3 years of experience in litigation or related legal field
  • Strong drafting and legal writing skills
  • Proficient in case management and legal research tools
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong analytical and negotiation skills
