• Current certification or eligibility to teach Special Education in New Mexico
• Previous experience working with K-12 students with diverse learning needs is highly valued
• Comfortable adapting instruction to students’ individual education plans (IEPs)
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for partnering with classroom teachers, specialists, and families
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive, positive classroom environment for all learners
• Ability to organize and document student progress effectively

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and small group instruction based on students’ IEPs
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop, implement, and revise educational plans
• Monitor student growth, track progress, and adjust teaching strategies as needed
• Provide guidance, encouragement, and advocacy for both students and families
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation required for special education compliance
