Humareso’s client is a recognized leader in the design and manufacturing of high-end industrial furnaces serving critical industries including aerospace, defense, and medical device manufacturing. They are currently seeking a skilled Field Service Technician with an Electrical Assembly background to join their growing team.
This role is ideal for a hands-on professional who enjoys balancing in-house technical assembly work with field service responsibilities. Based out of the Aston, PA headquarters, you will function primarily as an in-house mechanic/assembler supporting furnace production, while also traveling to customer sites to install, troubleshoot, and repair equipment as needed. Expected travel is limited to approximately 10 business days per month, with a maximum of 5 days per trip. A typical workload consists of approximately 75% in-house work in Aston, PA and 25% on-site customer support.
Responsibilities

Support the assembly and production of industrial furnaces.

Troubleshoot technical issues with precision and provide timely solutions to ensure minimal downtime.

Provide exceptional customer service and technical support, both remotely and in person.

Collaborate with engineering and technical teams to improve product design and service delivery.

Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, and participating in professional societies.
Travel Responsibilities

Travel to customer locations to install new furnaces and conduct on-site repairs and maintenance.

Perform routine maintenance and inspections to uphold company standards of reliability and efficiency.

Document service and installation actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records.
Qualifications

Proven experience as a Field Service Technician or similar role, preferably with industrial equipment.

Technical degree or certification in mechanical or electrical engineering preferred.

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach to machinery.

Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams, electrical schematics, ladder diagrams, and manufacturing drawings.

Excellent communication and customer service skills with the ability to manage stressful situations professionally.

Willingness to travel up to 50%.

Valid driver’s license and passport, or ability to obtain a passport.
