Overview Direct Counsel is recruiting a mid-level associate attorney to join the Tax Group. Candidates will work on a variety of tax matters, drawing on prior law firm or accounting tax experience.
Key Responsibilities

Advise clients on federal, state, and local tax matters.

Conduct research, draft memoranda, and provide strategic guidance on transactional and compliance issues.

Collaborate with partners and clients to manage projects effectively.
</li>
</ul>
Qualifications
<ul>
<li>
4–5 years of law firm or accounting tax experience.
</li>
<li>
JD from an accredited law school and active membership in the New York bar.
</li>
<li>
Strong analytical, research, drafting, and communication skills.
</li>
</ul>
Compensation
<ul>
<li>
$265,000 – $365,000, depending on experience.
</li>
</ul>
