Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) credential active and in good standing.
• Experience working in school settings or with pediatric populations strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with individualized education plans (IEPs) and related documentation processes.
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to adapt interventions to meet the unique needs of K-12 students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services as directed by an Occupational Therapist.
• Support students in building fine motor, sensory processing, self-care, and adaptive skills to facilitate educational participation.
• Assist with assessments, student progress monitoring, and documentation for IEP meetings.
• Adapt therapy activities for various age groups and developmental levels within the K-12 student population.
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and families to maximize student outcomes and foster an inclusive learning environment.
