Position Summary


The Field Supervisor & Quality Assurance Officer at K & T Security Services is responsible for overseeing the performance, compliance, training, and operational effectiveness of security officers assigned to various client sites throughout the Washington-Baltimore Area. This role includes developing monthly officer schedules, daily communication with the CEO, conducting site visits, verifying Tracktik daily remote clock-ins/outs, officer training, disciplinary actions for officers, providing on-site support to officers, ensuring quality service delivery, and maintaining compliance with post orders and client expectations. The ideal candidate is dependable, flexible, able to be on-call daily, detail-oriented, and has reliable transportation and able to respond to issues promptly across multiple sites.


Key Responsibilities

Field Supervision

Conduct regular and random site visits to ensure security officers are present, in uniform, and performing duties as assigned.

Verify officers have successfully clocked in and out remotely using TrackTik or the designated mobile app.

Address and resolve daily attendance issues, callouts, or shift coverage concerns on-site.

Ensure ALL POSTS are ALWAYS covered.

Work in conjunction with the director of scheduling to submit a monthly schedule for K&T sites.

Submit updates to the director of scheduling as changes occur due to call out, etc.

Coordinate and be the lead officer for all private events scheduled.

Meet biweekly with the Chief Administrative Officer.

Work daily with the K & T Office manager and director of scheduling.

Recruit, interview and hire new officers weekly.

Develop and maintain an ACTIVE officer on-call list.


Quality Assurance

Evaluate officer performance, appearance, and adherence to post orders and client-specific protocols.

Ensure Post Orders are on file at ALL sites and Post Orders are updated as needed.

Maintain CLEAR DAILY COMMUNICATION with the CEO of K & T Security Company.

Ensure client sites are secure, clean, and operating within company standards.

Provide coaching, guidance, and corrective action to officers when necessary.


Client Relations

Engage with clients during site visits to address concerns and ensure satisfaction.

Document and escalate client feedback and concerns to management (CEO).

Ensure that client expectations are consistently met or exceeded.


Incident Response & Reporting

Respond promptly to incidents, emergencies, or operational disruptions at assigned sites.

Conduct preliminary investigations and file incident reports daily or as needed with complete and accurate details.

Follow up with officers and clients on post-incident procedures or corrective measures.


Training & Compliance

Provide on-the-job training and mentoring of ALL newly HIRED assigned officers.

Ensure officers maintain required certifications and follow security protocols.

Supervise DAILY timekeeping, shift reports, and activity logs for accuracy and completeness.

Qualifications

Associate degree preferred. A minimum of a High School diploma will be considered. 25 years of management and security experience, including supervisory or field operations roles.

Familiarity with remote workforce systems such as TrackTik or similar applications.

Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.


Work Environment

Field-based role with regular travel between client locations. Requires availability during evenings, weekends, or overnight shifts as needed.

You must be physically able to conduct site inspections and respond to emergencies and be ON-CALL daily.


Compensation and Benefits

Competitive Full-time wage or salary based on experience. Mileage reimbursement or company vehicle for site travel as appropriate. Health insurance stipend, paid vacation after one year, and possible performance incentives.
