ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
\n
Sky Limit Systems is partnering with a growing aerospace manufacturer in Wichita, Kansas to hire a Master Production Scheduler. This role is the primary bridge between customers and internal operations, making sure customer demand, production schedules, and delivery commitments line up with what the factory can execute.

You'll own key customer accounts, drive production planning, communicate schedule changes, monitor program performance, and push on-time delivery while keeping customers confident. Expect close partnership with production, supply chain, engineering, quality, and program management.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
\n
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customer accounts
\n
- Manage customer forecasts, purchase orders, and delivery requirements
\n
- Build and maintain production schedules that meet customer commitments
\n
- Coordinate demand planning with operations, supply chain, and manufacturing
\n
- Monitor production progress and get ahead of schedule risks
\n
- Communicate delivery status, schedule changes, and potential delays to customers
\n
- Lead customer meetings on schedules, material availability, and delivery performance
\n
- Analyze capacity, inventory, and lead-time constraints affecting customer orders
\n
- Work with procurement and production to resolve shortages and bottlenecks
\n
- Support sales, business development, and contract review
\n
- Track KPIs including on-time delivery, backlog, and schedule adherence
\n
- Improve planning processes, customer service, and operational efficiency
\n
- Maintain accurate data in ERP/MRP systems
\n
\n
WHAT YOU BRING
\n
- 5+ years in production planning, account management, customer service, scheduling, program management, or manufacturing operations
\n
- Strong grasp of manufacturing planning and scheduling principles
\n
- Hands-on ERP/MRP experience and knowledge of inventory management
\n
- Excellent customer relationship and communication skills
\n
- Ability to juggle multiple customer priorities in a fast-paced environment
\n
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and project management skills
\n
- Advanced Excel and business reporting skills
\n
- Ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive accountability
\n
\n
NICE TO HAVE
\n
- Bachelor's or associate degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field
\n
- Aerospace or other highly regulated manufacturing experience
\n
\n
